David Tyree, homophobe, would trade his Super Bowl win to block Gay Marriage
This is totally nauseating at this point. Doesn't he remember that God "hated" interracial marriages at one point? It is because of the "redefinition" of marriages that allowed black people to marry white people in America.
    Douchebag Tyree
"The catch was a gift, it's not like I'd try to do it. I couldn't do it again so that was a miracle," he said. "There's nothing worth more than [maintaining heterosexual marriage] right here for me."
Asked if he'd give up the Super Bowl to stop gay marriage, Tyree said: "Honestly, I probably would."
"Nothing means more to me than that my God would be honored," he said. "Being the fact that I firmly believe that God created and ordained marriage between a man and a woman, I believe that that's something that should be fought for at all costs."

  • Senator Stephen Sweeney apologizes for anti-gay marriage vote

Senator Stephen Sweeney apologizes for anti-gay marriage vote
State Senator Stephen Sweeney (D-NJ) is apologizing for voting against gay marriage in New Jersey:
"Seventeen months ago, I stood up here and made the biggest mistake of my legislative career. I made a decision based purely on political calculations not to vote in support of marriage equality," Sweeney said from the Senate floor. "I failed in my responsibility as majority leader of this house of government to actually lead. I was wrong.
"To my fellow colleagues, to staff, and to those watching upstairs, let me tell you: Never, ever again will I allow that to happen," he continued. "The time for political calculations is over."

Whatever. It sounds like he's pandering to gay people now as the tide seems to be turning our way.Read it.

  • Senator Greg Ball wants religious protections

Senator Greg Ball wants religious protections
Senator Greg Ball (R-NY), ok, you're hot, but stop bullshitting us about gay marriage and "religious protections". First of all, civil marriages are performed every day to straight people without a priest, imam or Xenu. There are no laws that require, like say, a rabbi to marry a couple who are not Jewish. No priest will marry a couple who are not Catholic. Nobody is forcing them. So what is different about gay people who want a civil marriage?
